Food is OK to good - wings are good, burger is good, steam oysters weren’t great, fried oysters were good. Beer is cheap. Overall good value.

Good food served by a friendly staff in a nothing fancy, fun atmosphere. Don't let the unimpressive appearance of O'Shucks discourage you from stopping in. The good food and smiling staff will win you over. We had the very good chicken fingers today. Also try their claim to fame, oysters.

Boy this place is really a shack, and I mean that lovingly. A real deal dive. Food was great, service friendly, and prices right. In door and outdoor seating. My husband enjoyed his oysters. We sat at the bar and they were shocked right in front of us.look

Funky hole in the wall place with some serious food. Oysters on the half shell were superb. Deep fried string beans and barbeque sandwich were delicious. Topped things off with a slice of delicious key lime pie.

Reasonable Prices for Food and Adult Beverages. Everything is Delicious !!

Would recommend 100% to stop here if you are in the area. I will be taking 301 just to plan my meal around this place in the future! Great oyster po boy, shrimp fried to perfection, amazing french fries, homestyle green beans, good sweet tea and a friendly staff!

This place has awesome wings and oysters and cold beer. Always a great place to go to and unwind.

People are friendly and food is the best! Place is a hole in the wall but one of those that everyone talks about cause it's so good.

I stopped in and had the fried oysters. They were good. I would definitely return to this place to try other menu items. Kind of small and noisy but I didn't mind that. Overall worth the visit.

Stopped in yesterday and what a pleasant surprise. The menu is outstanding, the place is family friendly, unbelievably clean, and the staff takes pride in providing the best service anywhere. The food is very competitively priced, fresh and very tasty. The raw oysters are as good as you will find anywhere. A great selection of very cold beer. The outside deck is a pleasant surprise. So very glad we "took a chance" and stopped in. See you all again real soon. Definitely one of my top 3 places in the area.

Great country town feel! Oysters were the best we have had! Very good value for the money as well! Blackened fish was very well seasoned and the butterfly shrimp was excellent. We will be back in the future!

Took over an hour for are food we ordered sandwiches they said it was because ppl ordered specials

5 stars for the oysters and shrimp but have to deduct a star for the building. Its a dive. But you won't find any better seafood without driving over to the beach on the gulf of Mexico side of FL

Went there for dinner last night with friends. Everyone LOVED there foodRaw oysters were great at 12.99 a dozenLoved the medium wings and also the Parmesan garlic wings. Friend got the sirloin steak and said it was astounding Awesome hole in the wall. Not much to look at from the list side but service was great and food was awesome

I didn't hate this place! It's the best choped steak I have ever had. Don't let the understated exterior fool you. I was full and took some home and had to fight off the dog to finish it.( I won.she is a small dog!!!!!!) Ha ha just kidding.RBL

At first glance it's a place you could continue driving by and not stopping. As a former server, I was definitely not impressed with my server as far as personality she seemed to have almost none. The bartender who brought our food to us was very friendly and even asked if it was our first time visiting. Now for the food, The blackened scallops are AMAZING!!!!! The fried oysters AMAZING!!!! The coleslaw was definitely one of my favorites in comparison that I have had out. We did order a dozen oysters raw. I was a bit disappointed. They were not shucked to order. When they arrived at the table you could tell that they had been shucked either earlier in the day or the night before as there was no juice/water. Kind of dried out.... I would definitely go again. Maybe during busier hours that way I can ensure fresh shucked but otherwise food itself is a reason to go back.

Rustic place with fun food. Nice outdoor seating. Clams and oysters are great.

This is a fun local place for a beer and good pub food. If you haven't been here give it a shot. The waite staff is super friendly and helpful. They schuck oysters and clams almost continuously. We'll be back.

Service was horrible, Alicia our server couldn't get the order right to save her life. When the correct steamed oysters came out they got cold waiting for the condiments and a drink we had to request for a second time. Hope for her sake it was just a bad day.

Delicious Oysters!!!! I love gulf oysters and this place truly delivers! Cute little patio and extremely attentive and friendly staff. We ordered the Grilled shrimp and 3 dozen raw oysters. Prices are right. This place is a hidden GEM. Support local businesses and eat here so I can eat here again when I visit my Mom in "The Villages"

Friends told me about this O'Shucks Oyster Bar and Grill. Look like a biker bar or neighborhood beach bar. Went at noon on Saturday, the place was full inside and outside. Got a 2 seats at the bar, then moved to a table. My wife had a oversized hamburger, great burger flavor. I had the chicken gizzards and dozen oysters. The gizzard we cook just right and not grease. The Oyster were fresh and the horseradish cocktail sauce was great. This is a definitely a place to return to.

This was our second time this year at.o shucks. Both times the fried oysters were so cooked down they were crunchy. The steamed oysters on wed. special were good

On out way back home found O'Shucks and stopped in to get one more seafood fix. They had just opened but we're already busy shucking. Got a dozen on the half shell, a half pound of grilled shrimp, and a couple of cold drafts. Good end of trip lunch.

Great food great service happy atmosphere

First of all, The food is excellent here!!!! Our problem was with cleanliness, specifically the restroom. It was unbelievably filthy and smelled terribly. Even sink was filthy. This restroom is next to the kitchen and had a sign that says “Employees must was hands”. I would not use that filthy sink. We have been to O Shucks several times but never used the restroom. Since walking into the restroom, we were so disgusted with the filth, we don’t want to ever go back there to eat. So sad because the food is good. Just can’t trust the cleanliness. I don’t know if they haveever been cited by the health dept.

Small, kind of a divey, place with limited seating. Lunch is a good time to go. There is seating at the bar and more seating outside (see photo). Food and service is very good. We had oysters on the half-shell, po boy sandwiches, and grilled shrimp. $1.00 draft beer. All very good and the four of us enjoyed ourselves. We will go back.

Stopped in here with the family on the way home from Orlando. Awesome food, nice people, reasonable prices. One of the best stops on our trip!

Always good although we walked in at 9:30pm and an older waitress looked disappointed and I asked what time they close and she begrudgingly said 10pm. I asked if we could still order something and she paused and said yes...which meant "I really would rather you didn't". Luckily we had a different waitress and she sat us and we ordered wings and ate them fast and were out by 10pm. Maybe they should have a last seating time for food to avoid customers from feeling like a bother.

I have lived at The Villages over 15 years and passed this place by hundreds of times but not again. Had dinner tonight and what a nice surprise. I had the "wet" wings, my hubby had oyster bo-boy and both were really good. Service was efficient and with a smile. My one note would be get there early because inside is very small. I believe there is outside space in nice weather. We got there at 5:30 just as it was filling up. I definitely plan to return.

Fun fun fun. Everything is good here. The staff is amazing and the food is outstanding. Great oysters and shrimp. Will not make a dent in your wallet. Enjoy
